Did Trump Broker Peace in the Middle East?

No. He spent most of his time and our resources in Russia.

Some Facts about Trump's Foreign Policy

I will admit that I have very little regard towards Biden or the Democrats, but I must give credit to the old chap that his “don’t” speech placed him miles ahead of Trump in stepping up to the right thing to do when a strategic ally is in trouble, and in the sense of being the opposite to the isolationist atmosphere taking over the Republican Party…

That weird interview Trump gave, in which he said that had he been in the Oval Office, he would have solved the Ukrainian crisis in less than a day, besides being so outlandish with his thinking that he is dealing with a construction workers’ union or something like that, actually signaled to many Republicans to begin a drive towards isolationism. So, did he have some peace accord? Does it really matter? If he did, he failed in implementing or promoting it, and that is the bottom line.

Myths and Realities of the Abraham Accords

Yeah, supposedly, son-in-law Jared in cahoots with Bebe solved the whole problem without even including the Palestinians. I see it really worked out well. The Abraham Accords are often cited as a significant step towards peace in the Middle East, but the reality is far more complex.

For all intents and purposes, the Middle East was not a powder keg ready to go off at any minute until the next administration inhabited the Oval Office, resulting in two wars on two fronts! Congrats! Somebody, wink wink, is getting bloody wealthy both figuratively and literally!

Trump's Peace Plans and Misconceptions

Trump had several peace plans not only for the Middle East but for Ukraine as well if he is elected in the upcoming election. He claims he is ready to neutralize these ruthless wars that had been created by Biden.

Unfortunately, the reality is that Trump threatened to destroy terrorist groups in the Middle East in support of Israel, which was the only thing that kept the terrorists from going on an attack like the one on October 7th. This is a stark contrast to his rhetoric of peace and diplomacy.

Conclusion and Reflection

Did Trump broker peace in the Middle East? Based on the evidence and the outcomes, the answer is a definitive no. His focus was more on supporting Israel and countering terrorist threats than on fostering peace and stability in the region.

From my perspective, it's crucial to differentiate between rhetoric and reality in discussions about foreign policy. The Abraham Accords, while a positive step, do not solve all the issues in the region, and the conflicts continue to simmer under the surface.

In conclusion, it's time to move beyond the misconceptions and focus on evidence-based policies that can genuinely contribute to peace and stability in the Middle East.
