Family is a cornerstone of our social structure, with extended family networks often including in-laws who are considered part of the larger family. Major holidays such as Christmas, Diwali, and Eid Ul Fitr bring families together to enjoy good food and festivities.

In terms of technological advancements, Trinidad and Tobago is quite progressive. We have access to clean water systems, fiber backbone internet, VoIP telephony, and cellular wireless communication. The country boasts one of the cleanest running water systems in the world, and free tertiary education has been available for some time, with challenges in implementation.

Challenges and Economic Stability

Despite these advancements, the economy has faced some challenges due to fluctuations in the price of oil. However, recent improvements in oil prices are providing hope for economic recovery. Personal life experiences show that, in a highly competitive nation, a solid education is a good foundation for a decent life in Trinidad and Tobago. While crime is a significant issue, it primarily affects a smaller portion of society and does not overshadow the overall quality of life.
